			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve been working out with Derrick the Body Doc for less than 3 months, and I can tell you that it has been great so far! I am already seeing the results of these intense workouts in the mirror and can&#8217;t wait to see myself after a year!</p>
<p>He was accommodating enough to work with my wife and I for a couples class for our busy work schedule, which has been great for both of us.</p>
<p>Derrick is great (so is his wife)! Very encouraging, very knowledgeable about fitness (I&#8217;m an RN and I can&#8217;t even remember all the muscles he names off!) and he is genuinely interested in you getting the most out of each workout.</p>
<p>They do a great assessment before you sign up for anything and help you determine what YOUR goals are for your fitness.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In Autumn 2009 I was actually afraid to exercise or do much more than walk. Even minimal exercise resulted in injuries that took months to heal. I spent hours each week at chiropractors, osteopaths, and cranial-sacral therapists offices attempting to end the life-limiting pain in my low back and hips. Then BodyDoc moved into the neighborhood near my work place and I met Derrick and Rachel. I told Derrick about the challenges I wished to overcome and he didn&#8217;t blink an eye. Without a doubt he believed I could be fit and strong and feel good.</p>
<p>I signed up on for the deal of the century; one thing I&#8217;ve learned about Derrick is that he is among the most generous people I&#8217;ve been honored to know. Since we met, I&#8217;ve worked out with him as my trainer and watched his business grow as my fitness has.</p>
<p>A year after I started training with Derrick I participated in an unguided 18-day rafting trip down the Colorado River; something I thought I would never do. I am running with my dogs, enjoying long-distance bike rides, have dropped 20 pounds, helped family move, and no longer support an osteopath&#8217;s yacht. I know what joy of movement is about.</p>
<p>What makes Derrick different from other trainers? Number One is his firm belief in his clients; he shows compassion and understanding in all of us (and we have become a small community). Then there is his extensive knowledge, intuition and eagle eye. He pays close attention to every move to make sure I&#8217;m lifting or exercising correctly; he has a delightfully humorous way of telling me what to do that I find completely acceptable (pity my husband who tries that on occasion!). He knows exactly how far he can push me, which is usually farther that I would have believed, and he knows when I should ease up to prevent hurting myself. I trust Derrick.</p>
